Cotmcilmcmbcr Pctcrson inlroduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-05-149 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND <br />SPECIFICAT;~ONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #90-04 (SEALCOATING IMPROVEMENT OF <br />MAGNESIUM STREET N. W.) <br /> <br /> WIIF, REAS, pursuant to a motion passed by the Ramsey City Council on May 8, 1990, <br />the City Engineers have prepared contract documents and specifications for the sealcoating <br />improvement of Magnesium Street N.W. and has presented such contract documents and <br />specifications to tl~e Council for approval. <br /> <br />NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RA1VISEY~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Tha! sach contract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />made a prat hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and <br />in the Crmstruction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />improven)ent under such approved contract documents and specifications. The <br />advcrtisement shall be published for ten (10) days, shall specify the work to be done, shall <br />state tt~at bids will be received by the City Administrator until 11:00 A.M. on June 12, <br />1990 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center by the City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and <br />will be considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 P.M. on June 12, 1990 in the <br />Council Ct;ambers.
