CouncJ fmcmhcr Pctcrson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-05-155 <br /> <br />RES()I,tJTI()N ADOPTING CITY PARKS MAP <br /> <br /> WIIEREA,_, the City Council of the City of Ramsey has supported the <br />develop'mcn~ r,~f recreation facilities; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, major facility improvements at City parks have occurred in several <br />parks; <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the Council's intent is to enhance outdoor recreation activities <br />withir', thc parc system for all residents; and <br /> <br /> WIII~REAS, the City has been obtaining trail rights-of-way for the future <br />implememation of a trail system; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to indicate whenever possible general areas of <br />interest For t'ut.',~re p~ks; and <br /> <br /> 'WBEREAS, the City desires to incorporate park and public spaces into the <br />City's comprehensive plan; and <br /> <br /> WHI,i.,EAS, the Parks Commission has recommended adoption of the City <br />Parks map at their May 10, 1990 meeting. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESTOA, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />'hat ~tltr: City adopts the park plan dated May, 1990 as the official park map for the <br />(lit,,,._ . <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That tt;¢ Community Development Director shall cause additions and revisions <br />rc~l¢cli~g new parks, names and other pertinent information to be made in a timely <br />m:mne~ <br /> <br />The n~ofirm for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmembcr DeLuca and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann <br />Cot,'t(:il member Peterson <br />Comacil member DeLuca <br />Cou r~cilmember Person <br /> <br />and the fl}llowiF, g voted against the same: <br /> <br />Nom~ <br /> <br />and the fc~llowi,g abstained: <br /> <br />No I1 C <br /> <br /> <br />
