Councilmcml~;r Pcterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #90-06-165 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ALUMINUM VOTING BOOTHS <br />AND AI)OP'rlNG 1990 BUDGET AMENDMENT /f7 <br /> <br /> Wlf[l~,;lq, E AS, due to redistricting and the addition of two precincts (from three to five) in <br />the City, it is nccessary to purchase two sets of aluminum voting booths (model #1675); and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the following price quote has been received: <br /> <br /> Bu~;iness Record Corp. $2,453.10 plus freight (2 sets) <br /> 72),7 - 3rd Street South <br /> St. Clot.id, MN 56302 <br /> <br /> ANI) WI~EREAS, Business Record Corp. is the only available vendor in the area from <br />which to lmrcha.~c these voting booths; and <br /> <br /> WHEII~EAS, this purchase was not funded in the 1990 General Fund Budget; and <br /> <br /> Will ERE?,.S, this election purchase has City-wide benefit; and <br /> <br /> Will i;;lit I,;/~ S, funding for this project is available from the Landfill Trust Fund; and <br /> <br /> WItI~;IRI,;,'IS~ this budget amendment will increase the City's total 1990 General Fund <br />budgeted expcndi~, roes by the amount of $2,453.10 plus freight; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, this budget amendment will increase the City's total 1990 General Fund <br />budgeted revcnues: Other Financing Sources by the amount of $2,453.10 plus freight. <br /> <br />NOW TIIE~iEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE¥~ ,[NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That th(; Cry Council hereby authorizes purchase of two sets of aluminum voting booths. <br /> <br />2) That tim I~inance Officer of the City of Ramsey is hereby instructed to enter 1990 Budget <br /> Amcndme~t #7 into the City's financial systems to cause the budget amendment detailed in <br /> this ~esoltttion to be reflected in the City's financial records. <br /> <br />The motion for ih~_: adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />DeLuca ar,_d upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> M~ty(~r R(:imaun <br /> Cotmcihrte-nber Peterson <br /> Councilmcl n~:r DeLuca <br /> Cotmci l;ne-:nber Pearson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None. <br /> <br /> <br />
