Coun{;ilmembcr DcLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-06-174 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS ()RDERIN(I[ ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROJECT #90-22 (MUNICIPAL IMPR() VEMENTS) AND SPECIFICATIONS AND BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT CENTER PARKING LOT WtlEREAS, pursuant to a motion passed by the Ramsey City Council on April 10, 1990~ the City Engineer has prepared contract documents and specifications for the Muni{;ipal Center Parking Lot Improvements and has presented such contract documents and spet:ifications for the Municipal Center Parking Lot Improvements and has presented such corn tact documents and specifications to the Council for approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ¢)F RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows': 1) That st~ch contract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto :md made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper ~nd in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved contract documents and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for ten (10) days, shall specify the work to be done., t;hall state that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 11:15 a.m, o~ Jnne 26, 1990 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by the City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated and will be considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 on June 26, 1990 in the Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opporttmity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Adminis~'ator and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramse.~ for five (5) pement of the amount of such bid.
