Councihncmbcr Cich introduced thc following resoution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-06-189 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ONE-YEAR PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL <br />OF SECRETARY JO ANN THIELING <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jo Ann Thieling began employment with the City of Ramsey on June 26, <br />1989, in the position of Secretary in Administrative Services, in salary grade 1, with a current <br />annual salary ot $14,557; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as stated in the AFSCME contract, of which Ms. Thieling is a member, each <br />employee who successfully completes probation and receives a satisfactory performance evaluation <br />shall be placed at tlOt less than the applicable range minimum at the completion of 2,080 hours, <br />exclusive of overti~ ne; and <br /> <br /> WilEREAS, Ms. Thieling completed her probation on December 29, 1989 and will <br />complete 2,{}80 ho~rs on June 29, 1990; and <br /> <br /> W llEI{EAS, Ms. Thieting received a satisfactory performance evaluation from <br />Administrative Co-ordinator Penny Curtis, Ms. Thieling's immediate supervisor; and <br /> <br /> WHIgREAS, Fi nance Officer Sandra Ashley and City Administrator David Hartley are in <br />agreement wi~h the perfom~ance appraisal completed for Ms. Thieling; and <br /> <br /> WiIEI{EAS, Administrative Coordinator Penny Curtis recommends that Ms. Thieling's <br />annual salary be increased to $16,173, which is consistent with the terms of the AFSCME contract <br />for salary gra~le i, effective June 30, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee reviewed the performance appraisal at the <br />Personnel Commitiee meeting on June 20, 1990 and was in agreement with the appraisal. <br /> <br />NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That ~he City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendations of the <br />Persom~el Committee regarding the performance appraisal for Jo Ann Thieling, and <br />instructs Kay McAloney, Personnel Coordinator, to prepare the necessary paperwork for <br />change in ~mnual salary to $16,173 effective June 30, 1990. <br /> <br />The motion fi~r th,:: adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson and ~pon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None; <br /> <br /> <br />
