Cou ncihr~c~ r~ bt~r [>cLnca i ntrodaced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-08-237 <br /> <br />RESOIAJT[ON FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT :/~0~02 ROLLING GREEN ADDITION STREET SEALCOATING) <br /> <br /> WI-II~;RI~i;AS, by a resolution passed by the council on July 25, 1989, the City Administrator <br />was directed to pcepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving the streets in the plat of <br />Rolling Green .,~,~t, Iition; and <br /> <br /> WHI~;RI,;AS, the City Administrator has notified the Council that such proposed assessment <br />has been co~q.~lct~_d and filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW THiAqEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Thai a I~cadng shall be held on the 5th day of September in the City Hall at 7:00 p.m. to pass <br />upon s~tch proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property <br />affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />TN~t lh(: City Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the heating on the proposed <br />as:ges:;meni~ to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the <br />hearing, arid he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause <br />mailed ~otice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less <br />than tw~ weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That ih:,: owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />as,';essmc, n( to be county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with <br />interc:;t accrued to the date of payment, to the city, except that no interest shall be charged if <br />thc cntix-c assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. He may at <br />anj time, thereafter, pay to the City the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with <br />intcr,:st accrued to December 31, of the year in which such payment is made.
