Councilmcmb~ ~' DcLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-08-250 RESOLU'[ll)N DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARAT~'ON OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #90-12 B~.TIJMINOUS SURFACING OF 178TH AVENUE N.W. AND 178TH CIRCI,E WI[EREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the cost of mq>~ eying the bituminous surfacing of 178th Avenue N.W. and 178th Circle N.W. and the contract price for such improvements is $39,164.00 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred h~ the making of such improvement amount to $11,748.80 so that the total cost of the improveme~ will be $50,913.20. NOW TItEREIFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Thai ih,.: portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey is hero. by declared to be $2,828.51 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against be,,..:fiicd property owners is declared to be $48,084.69. 2) Tbal as'~c',;sments shall be in equal annual installments extending over a period of ten years, ti~c first of the instalhnents to be payable on or before May 15, 1991 and shall bern' inlcre, st al: the rate of 8.8 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of the as:~c.~iSli',cn I ~'esolution. 3) Tlc, at ibc City Administrator shall upon the completion of such proposed assessment, noti'l y i:t ~; l',amsey City Council thereof.
