IJT}.ON FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJE(Y~~ #9{hl.2 BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF 178TH AVENUE N.W. AND <br />178TII ~}[t~(~E N.'W.) <br /> <br /> WHEI-~EAS, by a resolution passed by the City Council on July 25, 1989, the City <br />Administtator was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving the bituminous <br />surfacing of i'Tslth Avenue N.W. and 178th Circle N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WH Ei. II,;AS, the City Administrator has notified the Council that such proposed assessment <br />has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW TIIE~{EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEV~ AN(}KA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That ~ hea:<ing shall be held on the 5th day of September in the City Hall at 7:40 p.m. to pass <br />upo~ such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property <br />aftect,.'xi by such improvement will be given an oppormni~ to be he~d with reference to such <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That thc (5 ty Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the heating on the proposed <br />asse:-;smen~ ro be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the <br />hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause <br />ma~lcd m~fice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less <br />than twr, weeks prior to the heatings. <br /> <br />~) <br /> <br />That iht: owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />assessmenl to be county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with <br />intore:;s .tccrued to the date of payment, to the city, except that no interest shall be charged if <br />the ca,ire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. He may at <br />any time. th<:reafter, pay to the City the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with <br />iht:re:si_ accrued to December 31, of the year in which such payment is made.
