Councilmc~r, bc~ DcLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-08-255 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DISALLOWING PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~90-18 <br />(STREET LNCHTS FOR RIVLYN STREET N.W.) <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted on the 8th day of May, 1990, fixed <br />a date roi' a c iotmcil hearing on the proposed improvement of installation of street lights and the <br />assessing of ib~ a~mual cost. (Project #90-.18); and <br /> <br />the required sixty (60) days has elapsed following the public hearing; and <br /> <br /> WIt t.;i4 I~;AS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />given, and thc hearing was held thereon on the 12th day of June, 1990 at which time all persons <br />desiring to ~;~, hcm'd were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br /> <br /> WItERE4S, the Ramsey City Council has received a petition signed by 9 property <br />owners rep~escmi,~g 53 percent of the affected property owners, in opposition to the proposed <br />project on thc TT~h -,.lay of July, 1990. <br /> <br />NOW TIIEREF()RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAIV!Si:;¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That p~oposed hnprovement Project #90-18 (installation of street lights and the <br />assessing of the annual cost) is hereby disallowed as proposed in the Council resolution <br />adopted thc 8th day of May, 1990. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Tha~ thc proposed Improvement Project #90-18 may not be considered for a period of one <br />year [rom the 12th day of June, 1990 as stated in Chapter 8 of the Ramsey City Charter. <br /> <br />The motion [,)r th{~ adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson ami upo~t vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the Followm:.; voted against the same: <br /> <br />NOBC <br /> <br />and the follow m g ai~stained: <br /> <br />and the follow i u_,, were absent: <br /> <br />Nol ,~, <br /> <br /> <br />
