Councihncmber Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-08-266 <br /> <br />RES()LIJT~(~N AUTItORIZING BURNS TOWNSHIP TO PAVE THE NORTH <br />250 FEET (}~ ',VACO STREET N.W. IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> Wlt}:;t~EAS, the City of Ramsey has experienced an ongoing erosion problem on the <br />north end of 'W:tc(:~ Street N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the Township of Burns has received bids and awarded a contract to W.B. <br />Miller, Inc. ~.~ pave Waco Street N.W. in Burns Township; and <br /> <br /> W l:~ I~;fl EAS, as part of the bids, Burns Township received an alternate bid in the amount <br />of $3,905 to pave ire north 250 feet of Waco Street N.W. in the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHI~;~fEAS, the City of Ramsey has determined that paving of the north 250 feet of <br />Waco Stree~ 1'4.W. would solve a maintenance problem and result in a cost savings. <br /> <br />NOW TIIE}..~}~;FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA; as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />~l'ha!: lb{: C;ty of Ramsey authorizes Burns Township to pave the north 250 feet of Waco <br />Sn'ec:t N.W. in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That lhc City of Ramsey agrees to pay the Township of Burns for the work completed in <br />Rams,.:,/wyfich was bid at $3,905.00. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Tha~ !:i~ancing of the work on Waco Street N.W. shall be provided from the street <br />main t~ance budget. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That fl~,; (:ity Achninistrator is hereby authorized and directed to send a copy of this <br />resol t3ii~m ~o Burns Township. <br /> <br />The motion for irc adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson a~d ~pon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the followi p.g voted against the same: <br /> <br />Noilc <br /> <br />and the l:ol[owirie, abstained: <br /> <br />NOil(~ <br /> <br />and the following we, re absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
