Counciln~cmhcr DcLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-08-272 RES()I,IJTi(~N ADOPTING 1990 BUDGET AMENDMENT #9 FOR PURCHASE OF POLICE S(}IJAi) CARS WIll,;REAS, the cut-off date for police vehicle purchases through Hennepin County Joint Purchasi~lg has changed from December 1990 for delivery in March or April of 1991 to August 20, 1990 for delivery by December 17, 1990; and WHI,;I,I EAS, the 1991 budget request includes two new squad cars for delivery early in 1991; and WIi[t,;kEAS, in order to facilitate the purchasing date, the Ramsey City Council approved th is 1-mdb;ct request at the regular Council meeting of August 14, 1990; and V~/IIEI;:EAS, funds for this purchase in 1990 will be transferred from the Equipment Revolving }hind (City Fund No. 810) to the General Fund (No. 101) in the not-to-exceed amount of $28,900.0~) with such funding to include the vehicles and wiring as required; and V¥II};RE/~S, this budget amendment does increase the City's total 1990 General Fund Budget (lapi~;~l Outhty Expenditures and Other Financing Sources by the same amount ($28,900.00~.
