Councilmcr~ ~bc~' I)ei'~uca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-08-280 RESOLi(JT!~ON APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR KADLEC EXCAVATtN(; (}F MORA, INC. (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-13) WtI~.t;:E/~S, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on May 22, 1990; and W l t E R E A S, t h e City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to Kadlcc [~.xcavating of Mora, Inc. for the construction of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and strcc~:s for Rivlyn Avenue N.W. and Tungsten Street N.W.; and WttEREAS, City Engineer Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommer~dcd partial payment to Kadlec Excavating of Mora, Inc. in the amount of $35,203.93. NOW TIiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSF, Y, A'NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: t) That ti~c Cii:y Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Kadlec Excavating of Mora, Inc. fo~' t!tc con ~;truction of Improvement Project #89-13 in the amount of $35,203.93. 2) Th at tm: Cii~y Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release £om~ tbr this partial payment. 3) Thai thc total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution g90-08-269 aplm~,,,h ~ p, !,ayment of the bills for the month of August, 1990. 4) Th,~t thc (5i y of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
