Cotmcilmet nbc. r Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-08-284 RESOLI)TION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #90-30 (PARABODV ~;FI'E LANDSCAPING) WIII,;REAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council, Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepm'ed contract documents and specifications for construction of ParaBody S itc l~andscaping (Improvement Project ~90-30) and has presented such contract documenl s and sp-3cifications to the Council for approval. NOW T~:II,;REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEV, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA; as follows: 1) Thru :m,;h ~xmtract documents and specifications are hereby approved. 2) Tha~ C.i~y Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in th~: Cor~sm.~ction Bulletin an advertisement for bids for the making of such improvement tmdt:r s~tcb approved contract documents and specifications. The advertisement shall be pun i:;hcd i'or ten (10) days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be rcceive~l by the City Administrator until 11:00 a.m. on September 11, 1990, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by th{: C~ty Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated and will be considered by tim Ramscy City Council at 7:30 p.m., September 11, 1990, in the Council Chambers. Any Iqddc? whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opp~,rttmity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be coasi(lemd tmless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey for five (5) per<:~::r~t of the amount of such bid.
