Councilmc~b~'r I VLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-09-293 <br /> <br />RES()LU'~'~(IN ADOPTING ASSESSMENT <br />SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN <br />JUNIPER Vt/(~¢ )I)S ADDITION) <br /> <br />(IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #87-27 <br />TRUNK LINE EXTENSION FOR <br /> <br /> Wlll,;R EAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br />Council ha:; met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />following Sa~i~a_ry sewer and watermain trunk line extension improvement: <br /> <br />a) S~&tary sewer and watermain trunk line extensions crossing PIN 24 32 25 43 0010 <br /> <br />NOW THE~¢E~'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSF. V, 4NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />'l'ha~ :-;uci~ proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br />is he:relay accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />timrcin~ a~d each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br />pr,)poscd in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />ri'[!iii :d!':]~ ~tsscssment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period <br />of tcr, yea,s, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in <br />Jamm[?, 1901 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.8 per cent annum from the date of the <br />adoption of this assessment resolution. To the f'n:st installment shall be added interest on <br />th{: ~';r~ti cc assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1990. To each <br />subseqt~cnt installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Tha! iht: ¢),vner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />as:;¢:;smcni, to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br />proper'ry., with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br />ex,.:ci)i: that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br />the adol~tion of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Finance <br />l)¢p:~ i~ ~c~_ the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to <br />December 31 of the year in which such payment is made.
