Councilmc~b~'r I VLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-09-293 RES()LU'~'~(IN ADOPTING ASSESSMENT SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN JUNIPER Vt/(~¢ )I)S ADDITION) (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #87-27 TRUNK LINE EXTENSION FOR Wlll,;R EAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City Council ha:; met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the following Sa~i~a_ry sewer and watermain trunk line extension improvement: a) S~&tary sewer and watermain trunk line extensions crossing PIN 24 32 25 43 0010 NOW THE~¢E~'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSF. V, 4NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) 'l'ha~ :-;uci~ proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is he:relay accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named timrcin~ a~d each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the pr,)poscd in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2) ri'[!iii :d!':]~ ~tsscssment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of tcr, yea,s, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in Jamm[?, 1901 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.8 per cent annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the f'n:st installment shall be added interest on th{: ~';r~ti cc assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1990. To each subseqt~cnt installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid 3) Tha! iht: ¢),vner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the as:;¢:;smcni, to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such proper'ry., with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, ex,.:ci)i: that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adol~tion of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Finance l)¢p:~ i~ ~c~_ the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made.
