Councilmc~ n b~ r l i>cLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-09-294 RESOL1J'I'~(.~N Al)OPTING ASSESSMENT SANITARY S~gWER AND WATERMAIN JUNIPER 'WOI)DS ADDITION) (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #87-27 TRUNK LINE EXTENSION FOR WIIER.~,iAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City Council has ~r~c:i and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the following San i: my :~ewcr and watermain trunk line extension improvement: a) Sa,titary sewer and watermain trunk line extensions to the plat of Juniper Woods Addition NOW TIIER~,;FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMb;EV:, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Thai :;t~<:!~ proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hv:n::by accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named th,m'Jn, m~d each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the prop,ost_.d i~ the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2) Tt-,a¢ .~;u,;i~ ;~.ssessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of five; ,,,cars, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in Jmmary, {991 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.8 per cent annum from the date of the adopth~ oi' this assessment resolution. To the fkst installment shall be added interest on thc crdi?c ~s;sessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1990. To each subse,.It~cn~: installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid im;tallr~}om s. 3) Thai ![~{; r~,w~cr of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the as:',e~;smcnf to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, except lhat no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from th~: adoI,li<,n of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Finance Dcp~r m ~'.m: the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to l)¢c,.:mbc:~' 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be made before ( lin, ~ber l 0, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the next succeeding year. 4) Th ai a c:~'t~fied duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's off icc k3 bc extended on the proper tax lists of the County, and such assessments shall be colk~,~'icrl ~md paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
