Councilmc~ n b~ r l i>cLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-09-294 <br /> <br />RESOL1J'I'~(.~N Al)OPTING ASSESSMENT <br />SANITARY S~gWER AND WATERMAIN <br />JUNIPER 'WOI)DS ADDITION) <br /> <br />(IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #87-27 <br />TRUNK LINE EXTENSION FOR <br /> <br /> WIIER.~,iAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br />Council has ~r~c:i and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />following San i: my :~ewcr and watermain trunk line extension improvement: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Sa,titary sewer and watermain trunk line extensions to the plat of Juniper Woods <br />Addition <br /> <br />NOW TIIER~,;FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMb;EV:, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Thai :;t~<:!~ proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br />is hv:n::by accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />th,m'Jn, m~d each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br />prop,ost_.d i~ the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Tt-,a¢ .~;u,;i~ ;~.ssessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period <br />of five; ,,,cars, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in <br />Jmmary, {991 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.8 per cent annum from the date of the <br />adopth~ oi' this assessment resolution. To each <br />subse,.It~cn~: installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid <br />im;tallr~}om s. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Thai ![~{; r~,w~cr of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />as:',e~;smcnf to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br />property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br />except lhat no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br />th~: adoI,li<,n of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Finance <br />Dcp~r m ~'.m: the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to <br />l)¢c,.:mbc:~' 31 of the year in which such payment is made.
