Councihr~c~nbt;r I "eLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-09-297 <br /> <br />RES()LUT~ON ADOPTING ASSESSMENT (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-15 <br />SANITAI~Y SEWER, WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER AND STREETS FOR <br />DOLOMfI'I?E ~;TREET N.W.) <br /> <br /> W}H~;R EAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br />Council ha:4 n-~c~ and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />following scw{.L ,rater, storm sewer, m~d street surfacing improvement: <br /> <br />a) l)olomite Street N.W. from Front Street N.W. south to its terminus <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Thai :;w;h 9coposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br />is hc~cl)y 'accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />th;:.rcm m,d each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br />prot-;o:-;cd in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Thai .;~ ~,:h ;tssessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period <br />of t{.:n ?,{:ars, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in <br />Jam~ary, 199t and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.8 per cent annum from the date of the <br />adof~lion of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on <br />thc t',nfi r{~, :~.ssessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1990. To each <br />sub:sequc~t installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid <br />in:;t;~llmcn~s. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Tim! ih<,. ~)wner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />as'4c:;:4n~c~t to thc Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br />pr,.)pcrty, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br />cxc:cpt lha~ no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br />thc ;~do!}tion of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Finance <br />Dcp:u'tmcr~t the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to <br />Dccc~td)cr 3l of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be made <br />be ~'r:~,'~.
