Councilmemb~:r I)d,uca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-09-299 <br /> <br />RES()L}iJTI(~N ADOPTING ASSESSMENT (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 890-03 <br />RAMSEY TEt~RACE ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WI~ER iR & S, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br />Council ha~; mci and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />following slr, x;i scalcoating improvement: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />t 4.!nd Avenue N.W. between the western plat boundary and the eastern plat <br />t-x x md ary <br /> <br />b) I d 0th Lane N.W. between Krypton Street N.W. and Iodine Street N.W. <br /> <br />c) Krypton Street N.W. between 142nd Avenue N.W. and County Road #116 <br /> <br />d) Itmkite Street N.W. between 140th Lane N.W. and 142nd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />e.) i, >di~e Street N.W. between 142nd Avenue N.W. and County Road #116 <br /> <br />itu,kite Street N.W. between 142nd Avenue N.W. and the northern plat boundary <br /> <br />NOW TIIERI~;FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMM,?_Z~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Thru :;u,.:h ~roposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br />is hc~<;[~y accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />th~xdn,, a~td each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br />pre>posed i~ the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Thai st,x:h xsscssment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period <br />of thr~x~' ycars, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in <br />January, 1991 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.5 per cent annum from the date of the <br />adoptioq oi? this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on <br />ttx; c:r~ti~'~: ~ssessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1990. To each <br />subsequc;ni installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Thai l tx:. awner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />asse:.::,menl to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br />proixx'ly, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br />except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br />thc a,t,}pticx~ of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Finance <br />I)cp~ ri meni the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to <br />December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be made <br />1)efo~e (.~(;t(d)er 10, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the next succeeding <br />yc~m <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Th,~t a ,:~:,'ti lied duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br />office to he'. extended on the proper tax lists of the County, and such assessments shall be <br />col lccl ud and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br /> <br />
