Cotlncihr~ctabc:r DeLuca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-09-300 RESOIAJ'['~{~N ADOPTING ASSESSMENT (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #90-04 MAGNESIiJM STREET N.W. BETWEEN COUNTY ROAD #116 AND ITS CUL- DE-SAC 'IERMINUS) WI i1,;REAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City Council ha~; met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the following sm :,~:~ sealcoating improvement: a) M~gncsium Street N.W. between County Road #116 and its cul-de-sac terminus NOW T~IEi~.Ei~'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSN'¥., ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Thai :',tt,zh proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is he, felly accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named thcrc;n :l/~c/each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposr..d in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2) Thai :;,,:;i~ ;tssessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of t[ircc 3, cars, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in Jammry', 1'-~91 and shall beat' interest at the rate of 8.5 per cent annum from the date of the adt~pti{m o[' this assessment resolution. To the fn:st installment shall be added interest on thc ch lice ;tssessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1990. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid .3) Tk~at Iht owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the as,~;cs,';n~cni' to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property~ with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, exccgt th;~t u~o interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from th{; ariel,iOn of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Finance Dcpmtl: ~c~¢t the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to l)ec~_~-~t~cr 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be made be';¥,'c ()ct, ~ber 10, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the next succeeding 4) That a c~t'tified duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's office to 5~: extended on the proper tax lists of the County, and such assessments shall be col ]o':,_c~t ami paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
