Councilmcmbcr Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-09-319 RESOLIJTi©N APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. I TO CONTRACTING FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #90-26 BALLFIELA~.) MATT BULLOCK (CENTRAL PARK WliE~,I:E/kS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey entered into an agreement with Matt Bullock Con/racti~g Co., Inc. for construction of the Central Park Softball Ballfields; and the original contract amount is $72,508.92; and WHI;;Iit;I,;AS, Resolution ~90-07-218 authorized preparation of plans and specifications and an expend imf,': {'or the overall project of up to $100,00.00; and WI-Il EIItEAS, the City Council has determined that extension of the irrigation system is desirable in Ccmr~l Park and that the system should be installed in the new soccer field area. NOW TIIEREF()RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That thc C.,ty Council hereby authorizes Change Order No. 1 for the Central Park BallfieMs in the a:r~otmt of $8,578.00 for additional irrigation. o Thru th~; ( iJ ty Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to execute Change O~d~ I,~. 1. That thc ;oial amount of the contract shall be increased by $8,578.00 with this change order to a ~ot~! {~I' $81,086.92 and the contract period should be extended 15 days. 4) That thc Ci;y of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
