Cotmcilmc~nb,~r Cich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOI~UTiON OFFERING <br />DONALD _I()IiNSON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-11-349 <br /> <br /> SENIOR ENGINEER TECHNICIAN POSITION TO <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, there is a vacancy in the City of Ramsey Engineering Department for Senior <br />Engineerinp 'l?ch ~ficim~ in salary grade 3.5; and <br /> <br /> Wl!l,;le [i;?~S, twenty-four (24-) applications were received for the position; and <br /> <br /> WliEi~EAS, six (6) applicants were contacted and interviewed for the position by <br />Personnel Cc~ ~ ditmtor Kay McAloney and City Engineer Steven Jankowski; and <br /> <br /> WItlI,;REAS, two finalists were interviewed by City Administrator David Hartley and <br />Steven Jankowski. and also by the Personnel Committee on November 8, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WII Flit iqAS, City staff recommended that the position of Senior Engineering Technician <br />be offered to I-).vm4d Johnson at the six-month rate of salary grade 3.5, $22,642 annually; and <br /> <br /> W}II Ell E/~S, the Personnel Committee agreed with the recommendation of Staff; and <br /> <br /> Will EIiEAS, Mr. Johnson was offered the position contingent upon approval by Ramsey <br />City Cotmcil t}n November 13, 1990. <br /> <br />NOW TtIER.!0;FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY', ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Th at the.
