Counciln ~cmbcr' Pctcrson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-11-356 RES()lJ/JI'[{}N ENTERING INTO AN EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT AGREEM!~;N~I~ WITH UNITED POWER ASSOCIATION (UPA) ON IMPROVEMI~;NT PROJECT #89-4 WI. IEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to Dresd C'orm'acting, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #89-4 (153rd Avenue N.W.); and WIIER~4AS~ the construction of 153rd Avenue N.W. is adjacent to a UPA transmission line; and WI IEREAS, two structures may require holding during construction and/or relocation after' the subgrade is mucked out and refilled; and WIIE!4E/~S, UPA has estimated this cost of the structures relocation to be $20,703.00 and has requested that the City sign the Acknowledgement of Expenses for Power Line Move dated ()ctobe_~· i~ 1990 since it is a City project; and WIII:;I,2EAS, the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications for Improvement Project #89-4 s~a~es that all costs for moving any utilities shall be borne by the contractor. NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAM~EV, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That ~ho City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the acknow lt~dgoment of expenses for power line move. 2) That the total amount of the cost of moving the UPA utilities shall be billed to the co0tractor, Dresel Contracting, Inc.
