Councihncmt)c~ I)cl ,uca introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-12-374 <br /> <br />RES()LUTII}N AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS FOR A COOPERATIVE <br />()PI~ORTIJNFI';iES FOR RESOURCE ENHANCEMENT (C.O.R.E.) PROGRAM <br />FISHIN(; I'I'EI~ IN RIVER'S BEND PARK <br /> <br /> WltF. RF,/~.S, the City Council of the City of Ramsey has supported the development of <br />recreation fP, c.iliti,.~>; itt River's Bend Park; and <br /> <br /> Will Etl I,;/~S, facility improvements at the park were undertaken to provide parking and <br />trail access to a tislfing pier; and <br /> <br /> W III~;R E/~S, the City Council's intent is to enhance outdoor recreation activities within <br />the park for d i~;:tbl~,cl a nd physically limited individuals; and <br /> <br /> Wlil,;il E/~S, d~e State Department of Natural Resources notified the City on August 7, <br />1990 that a ti-d~tq! [tier was approved for the park; and <br /> <br /> WItiEREAS, tile City Council adopted Resolution #90-02-58 authorizing up to <br />$2,000.00 a~'; ;~ ~:~>~, ~mun ity cost share fei' the pier and that no local cost will be required. <br /> <br />NOW TIIERi~;FORE, liE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE't, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />q]~a'! *4,z;l:md Otto of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. shall coordinate with the <br />Mi n~t::;, ~l:t l)cpartment of Natural Resources for a CORE grant for the installation of the <br />fishi.m~ tic,. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />q'hat thc i~ ayor and City Administrator are authorized to enter into necessary agreements <br />wid~ [~r, I~ !bt thc installation, routine maintenance, insurance and operation of the pier. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That th,.: Ci Cy will provide assistance in installing the pier, install a sign provided by DNR, <br />and l~(,,,,it I~': a concrete footing for the pier. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That thc ~b?,000.00 allocated for this project by Resolution #90-02-58 be unencumbered <br />and ~'e~l:fi ~ in thc park improvement revolving fund #425. <br /> <br />Thc motion f,)r !h,; adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pelerson and ~pcm vo~c being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the f'ollo,,¥i~q~, voted against thc same: <br /> <br /> <br />
