Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #91-02-026 RESOLUTION APPROVING PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL FOR ZONING ADMINISTRATOR SYLVIA FROLIK WHEREAS, Sylvia Frolik began employment at the City of Ramsey on August 30, 1986 as Secretary; and WHEREAS, Ms. Frolik has been in the position of Planning Assistant since September 1, 1988 in salary grade 3 with a current annual salary of $24,600; and WHEREAS, the anniversary of position date for Ms. Frolik is September 1; and WHEREAS, a satisfactory performance appraisal was performed on August 31, 1990 by previous City Administrator David Hartley, then immediate supervisor of Ms. Frolik; and WHEREAS, Ms. Frolik has been assuming the duties of the Zoning Administrator since the previous Community Development Director's departure from the City of Ramsey in June of 1990 and some of the duties since before the departure; and WHEREAS, tile position of Zoning Administrator, consistent with internal and external comparisons, was researched by staff and recommended reclassification to salary grade 4; and WIIEREAS, the Personnel Committee at their meeting of February 5, 1991 has reviewed the performance appraisal and recommendations for Ms. Frolik and is in agreement; and WHEREAS, the recommendation of the Personnel Committee for Ms. Frolik is an increase in her annual salary to $26,956, and to reclassify the position of Zoning Administrator to salary grade 4, effective the pay period following the anniversary of position date of September 1, which in this case would be September 8, 1990. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendations of Personnel Committee to reclassify Ms. Frolik in the position of Zoning Adminisu'ator to salary grade 4 and increase Sylvia Frolik's annual salary to $26,956 effective September 8, 1990. The motion for tile adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councihnember Cich Cotmcilmember Hardin Councilmember Beyer and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
