Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #91-02-027 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL FOR INSPECTOR <br />STEVEN LUTMER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. Steven Lutmer began employment at the City of Ramsey on October 19, <br />1987 on a part-time basis; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS on May 30, 1989 the City Council approved Mr. Lutmer's change in status <br />tq full-time regular in the position of Community Development Inspector in salary grade 2; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. Mr. Lutmer has a current annual salary of $19,767 per the terms of the <br />AFSCME bargaining unit, of which he is a member; and <br /> <br /> hrqI-IEREAS performance appraisals were performed on December 27, 1990 by City <br />Engineer Steve Jankowski, Building Official Glyn Huff and City Assessor John Keefe; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS there was a considerable degree of variation among the three evaluations of <br />Mr. Lutmer, but overall performance was rated satisfactory; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee at their meeting of February 5, 1991 has reviewed <br />tile performance appraisal and recommendations for Mr. Lutmer and is in agreement; however, the <br />Personnel Committee stated that they would like a performance evaluation performed by City <br />Engineer Steve Jankowski at three month intervals until the next annual review; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee confirmed their prior recommendation for Mr. <br />Lutmer to increase his annual salary to $20,755 effective December 1, 1990 and further <br />recomnlended that a performance evaluation be performed by City Engineer Steve Jankowski at <br />three month intervals until the next annual review. <br /> <br />NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendations of Personnel <br />Committee for Steven Lutmer to increasing Mr. Lutmer's annual salary to $20,755 <br />effective December 1, 1990, noting the request of the Personnel Committee to have City <br />Engineer Steven Jankowski perform appraisals in 3 months intervals until the next annual <br />l'eVleW. <br /> <br />Tile motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Cou ncilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Cich <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and tile following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and tile following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
