Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE CITY'S ELECTION STAFF
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Administrative Coordinator Penny Ott and the City's Election Judges Linda
<br />Andrus, Phyllis Barstow, Sharon Beatty, Willard Breu, Yvonne Curran, Sharon Flynn, Judith
<br />France, Nancy Giddings, Gail Graham, Edward Hamilton, Lora Hamilton, Carol Havrilla, Karen
<br />Henke, Carol Heruth, Donald Heruth, Marlene Katnis, Marlene Kroll, Julia Lee, Roxann Menard,
<br />Debra Moss Jean Murdock, Nancy Nelson, Beryl Norman, Nancy Olson, DeLinda Oseid, Kathi
<br />Peterson, Miriam Peterson, Jeanette Reiter, Dixie Ritchie, Rose Roquette, Delores Smithers, Ralph
<br />Smithers, Rose Marie Steiner, LaVonne Suckow, Kathleen Sutton, Evangeline Swenson, Barbara
<br />Tokar, Janet Tonsager, Kathleen Warner, Rhonda Williams, Barbara Wilson and Kathryn
<br />Woodfill served the City of Ramsey during the Primary and General Elections of 1990 and some
<br />also served during the Primary and Special Elections in 1991; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the 1990 election was a time of significant change in procedures due to the
<br />purchase of an electronic voting system by the County and the City; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the election staff provided a timely and effective transition for the voters of
<br />the City of Ramsey; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, their commitment and dedication is recognized as a significant contribution
<br />to the election process.
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
<br />
<br />1)
<br />
<br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby takes great pleasure in commending
<br />each and every member of the election staff for their commitment and dedication.
<br />
<br />2)
<br />
<br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey further directs a copy of this resolution be
<br />placed in each of the aforementioned individual's personnel file.
<br />
<br />The motion for this adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
<br />Hardin and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
