Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #91-03-067 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBDIVISION OF THE SCROGGINS PROPERTY WHEREAS, the construction of 153rd Avenue N.W. has effectively caused the creation of a remnant parcel of property, triangular in shape and approximately 2.5 acres in area; and WHEREAS, said parcel cannot be used by the property owner for its previously agricultural use; and WHEREAS, the owner of said property wishes to sell the property to the adjacent property owner; and WHEREAS, the parcel does not conform to parcel size zoning requirements, but the City Council acknowledges the unique circumstances involved in its creation. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the parcel described as: That part of the North Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying easterly of Anoka County Highway Right- of-Way Plat NO. 1 and northerly of a line described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the east line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 23 with the north line of the south 40.00 feet of said Northwest Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of South 89 degrees 18 minutes 00 seconds West, parallel with the south line of said Northwest Quarter, a distance of 423.02 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence southwesterly a distance of 189.10 feet of a tangential curve concave to the south having a radius of 650.00 feet and central angle of 16 degrees 40 minutes 07 seconds; thence South 72 degrees 37 minutes 53 seconds West, tangent to said curve, a distance of 785.72 feet; thence westerly a distance of 189.10 feet on a tangential curve concave to the north having a radius of 650.00 feet and a central angle of 16 degrees 40 minutes 07 seconds; thence south 89 degrees 18 minutes 00 seconds West, tangent to last said curve, a distance of 300.00 feet and there terminating. Subject to 153rd Avenue N.W. over the southerly 40.00 feet thereof. be allowed to be recorded in the Anoka County Recorder's Office as a legal parcel.
