Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #91-04-075 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 1991 BUDGET AMENDMENT #1 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ALLOCATING FUNDS TO CIVIL DEFENSE SIREN MAINTENANCE WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of March 13, 1991, the City Council approved the expenditure of funds for maintenance of the seventeen (17) Civil Defense sirens in the amount of Four Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-Six and No/100 Dollars ($4,396.00); and WHEREAS, the City's 1991 adopted General Fund Budget did not include specific funding for this expenditure; and WHEREAS, the City's Finance Officer and Budget Committee have recommended this expenditure be funded by an allocation of Three Thousand Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($3,200.00) from the Communication Budget and One Thousand One Hundred Ninety-Six and No~100 Dollars ($1,196.00) from the expenditure reserve for contingency; and WHEREAS, this budget amendment does not increase or decrease the City's total 1991 General Fund Budget. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Finance Officer of the City of Ramsey be instructed to enter this Budget Amendment #1 to the City of Ramsey's Financial Systems to cause the budget amendment detailed in this resolution to be reflected in the City's financial records. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Cich Councilmember Beyer and the following voted against same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of April, 1991. ....
