Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #91-04-075 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 1991 BUDGET AMENDMENT #1 FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF ALLOCATING FUNDS TO CIVIL DEFENSE SIREN <br />MAINTENANCE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of March 13, 1991, the City Council approved the <br />expenditure of funds for maintenance of the seventeen (17) Civil Defense sirens in the amount of <br />Four Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-Six and No/100 Dollars ($4,396.00); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's 1991 adopted General Fund Budget did not include specific <br />funding for this expenditure; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Finance Officer and Budget Committee have recommended this <br />expenditure be funded by an allocation of Three Thousand Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars <br />($3,200.00) from the Communication Budget and One Thousand One Hundred Ninety-Six and <br />No~100 Dollars ($1,196.00) from the expenditure reserve for contingency; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this budget amendment does not increase or decrease the City's total 1991 <br />General Fund Budget. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Finance Officer of the City of Ramsey be instructed to enter this Budget <br />Amendment #1 to the City of Ramsey's Financial Systems to cause the budget amendment <br />detailed in this resolution to be reflected in the City's financial records. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Cich <br />Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and the following voted against same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 9th day of April, 1991. <br /> <br /> .... <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
