Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #91-04-093 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAYS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Ramsey that the revisions <br />hereinafter described should be incorporated into the Municipal State Aid Street (M.S.A.S.) system <br />under the provisions of the Minnesota Laws of 1967, Chapter 162. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the following described roads be hereby established with regard to the M.S.A.S. <br />system as follows: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />That the route location of 153rd Avenue N.W. between Ramsey Boulevard N.W. and <br />C.S.A.H. 5 should be modified from its present designation to conform exactly with <br />the route presently under construction as SAP 199-107-04. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />That a 0.42 mile of nonexistent roadway be added to the M.S.A.S. system which shall <br />be an eastward extension of the nonexistent control Section 104, Sunfish Lake Drive <br />N.W. This added section would lie between C.S.A.H. 5 and T.H. 47. <br /> <br />c) That the M.S.A.S. designated portion of Puma Street N.W. be shortened a distance of <br /> 0.36 miles due to the closing of the crossing of the B.N.R.R. <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />That the nonexistent control Section 104, Segment 10 be realigned such that its western <br />terminus would coincide with the new southern terminus resulting the redesignation of <br />Puma Street in item c, above. <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br />That a nonexistent segment of Riverdale Road N.W. be added to the M.S.A.S. system <br />beginning at Armstrong Blvd. N.W. and terminating with its intersection of nonexistent <br />Segment 109 to the east. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified <br />copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for consideration, and that <br />upon approval of the revisions of said road or portion thereof, that same be constructed, <br />improved and maintained as part of the State Aid Street of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hardin and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
