Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #91-05-095 RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR SENIOR ACCOUNTANT MARY GOMEZ WHEREAS, Mary Gomez began employment at the City of Ramsey on October 24, 1990 as Senior Accountant in the Finance Office in salary grade 5, with an annual salary of $27,494; and WHEREAS, Finance Officer and Acting City Administrator Sandra Ashley Helling, Ms. Gomez's immediate supervisor, has given a satisfactory employee performance appraisal for Ms. Gomez and recommended retaining Ms. Gomez at the City of Ramsey as a regular full-time employee; and WHEREAS, the probationary period has been successfully completed and, as Ms. Gomez was hired at the six-month rate of salary grade 5, there was no salary increase for completion of the six-month probationary period; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at their April 18, 1991 meeting, agreed with the recommendation of staff to retain Ms. Gomez as a regular full-time employee effective April 24, 1991; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council at their April 23, 1991 meeting, approved the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to retain Ms. Gomez as a regular full-time employee effective April 24, 1991. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confreres the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Mary Gomez and change in status to full-time regular employee effective April 24, 1991. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by CounCilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Cich and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None
