Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption RESOLUTION #91-05-103 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING USE OF ADDITIONAL 1991 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS IN THE YEAR 1991 WHEREAS, Anoka County is responsible for the allocation and timely expenditure of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey receives an annual allocation of CDBG funds from Anoka County; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council conducted a pub'lic hearing on Wednesday, February 27, 1991 regarding the use of 1990 and 1991 CDBG allocations and authorized the following designations: Project Amount County Housing Rehabilitation Program Public Service Agencies Senior Center Carpet $35,000 $10,000 $ 4,770 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has been notified by Anoka County that the final CDBG budget has been established and there is an additional $2,000 allocated to the City of Ramsey beyond that which was allocated on February 27, 1991. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey hereby applies to Anoka County for $2,000 in uncommitted 1991 Community Development Block Grant allocations to be used in the County Housing Rehabilitation Program. 2) That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Anoka County CDBG Administrator. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Cich and the following voted against same: None and the following abstained: None
