Councilmember Pcterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g91-05-117 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT //91-10 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATER <br />LATERALS TO 25-32-25-31-0004) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />water and sewer lateral extensions to 25-32-25-31-0004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful <br />signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the City Charter <br />and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of water and sewer <br />lateral extensions to 25-32-25-31-0004 has been filed with the City Council on May 28, 1991. The <br />petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This <br />declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Ordinance 210.01 and Minnesota Statute Chapter <br />429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed to prepare a <br />feasibility study and submit to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a <br />preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of the project for <br />each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as to whether it should best be <br />done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. <br /> <br />3) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project # 91-10. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Hardin <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmcmber Cich <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day <br /> <br />of May, 1991. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
