Councilmember Beyer moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #91-05- 120 <br /> ADOPTING THE FOLLOWING FINDINGS OF FACT #0299 <br />RELATING TO A REQUEST BY GLENN REHBEIN EXCAVATING, INC. <br />TO UTILIZE A MOBILE HOME AS A TEMPORARY RESIDENCE <br /> DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NORTHFORK LINKS GOLF <br /> COURSE <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />That Glenn Rehbein Excavating, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has <br />properly applied for a conditional use permit to utilize a mobile home on a <br />temporary basis as a residence for the project superintendent during the construction <br />of the Northfork Links Golf Course. <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission for a <br />public hearing pursuant to Sections 9.03.04 and Section 8.40 of the Ramsey City <br />Code on May 7, 1991 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that <br />the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />That the subject property is generally known as 9400 153rd Avenue N.W. and <br />legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 10, Block 3, Northfork Links Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />That the subject property is located within the Northfork Planned Unit Development <br />on a parcel proposed to be developed as part of the Northfork Links Golf Course. <br /> <br />That in addition to a construction trailer, which is allowed in Ramsey, the Applicant <br />is proposing to place a 14' x 70' mobile home trailer on the subject property to be <br />used as a residence by the golf course project superintendent during the <br />construction of the golf course, approximately two (2) years. <br /> <br />That on April 23, 1991, the Ramsey City Council granted the Applicant permission <br />to move the temporary mobile home residence onto the subject property for security <br />purposes until a final decision is made regarding the application for the conditional <br />use permit. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the on-site residence for the project superintendent <br />is necessary for security purposes and to monitor the computerized irrigation <br />system during its operation on off-peak hours. <br /> <br />That Section 8.40.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that mobile homes are <br />prohibited except in mobile home parks unless otherwise provided for. <br /> <br />That in the past, the City of Ramsey has issued numerous conditional use permits <br />for mobile homes to be used as temporary office space and granted approval for the <br />use of mobile homes during new home construction or while fh'e damaged homes <br />are being repaired. <br /> <br />That the proposed temporary mobile home will be adequately served by on-site <br />water and sewer services. <br /> <br /> <br />
