Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for it adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #91-06.137 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL AND <br />INCREASE IN ANNUAL SALARY FOR PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE <br />WORKER JAMES LACEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, James Lacey began employment at the City of Ramsey on May 23, 1990 as <br />Public Works Maintenance Worker in salary grade 2 with an annual salary of $17,790; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as stated in the AFSCME contract, of which Mr. Lacey is a member, each <br />employee who successfully completes probation and receives a satisfactory performance evaluation <br />shall be placed at not less than the applicable range minimum at the completion of 2,080 <br />compensated hours, exclusive of overtime; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Lacey completed 2,080 compensated hours, exclusive of overtime, on <br />May 23, 1991; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the probationary period for Mr. Lacey was completed November 23, 1990 <br />and Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Coordinator and Mr. Lacey's immediate supervisor, has given a <br />satisfactory employee performance appraisal for Mr. Lacey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works Supervisor Merle Mevissen, City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />and City Administrator Ryan Schroeder agreed with the performance appraisal of Mark Boos; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at their June 11, 1991 meeting, accepted the <br />performance appraisal completed by staff and recommended that Mr. Lacey's annual salary <br />increase to $20,656 in salary grade 2, effective May 23, 1991 per the terms of the AFSCME <br />bargaining unit contract. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to accept the performance appraisal completed by staff and increase Mr. <br />Lacey's annual salary to $20,656 in salary grade 2, effective May 23, 1991 per the terms of the <br />AFSCME bargaining unit contract. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Cich <br />Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and the following voted against Ihe same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> <br />
