Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION /091-06-143 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO SELBY ORNAMENTAL IRON CO. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #90-29 (RIVER'S BEND HANDRAIL AND ACCESS GATE INSTALLATION) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on October 23, 1990; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to Selby Ornamental Iron Co. for the fabrication and installation of handrails and access road gate. WHEREAS, Merland Otto of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended final payment to Selby Ornamental Iron Co. in the amount of I I, 5gV 50 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Selby Ornamental Iron Co. for River's Bend Park access road gate and handrails in the amount of-$:l:t:;zqtt5~. /* I I, 38?. 50 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. 3) That the total amount of this final payment is not included in Resolution//91-06-140 approving payment of bills for the month of June, 1991. 4) That this project is funded from 1990 CDBG funds. 5) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Cich and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 25th day of June, 1991.
