Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #91-06-151 RE-SOLUTION RECOGNIZING BEVERLY SWANSON AS CITY OF RAMSEY VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR WHEREAS, the Volunteer of the Year Committee has nominated Beverly Swanson as the City of Ramsey Volunteer of the Yea~, and WHEREAS, Ms. Swanson has been active in the Ramsey Youth Athletic Association for the past three years, as President-elect the first year and as President for the past two years. During that time she has concentrated on sports activities for children. Ms. Swanson initiated the petition that expedited development of the new soccer and two new softball fields at Central Park. Ms. Swanson is also involved in activities at the Ramsey Elementary School and is a member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey hereby recognizes Beverly Swanson as the City of Ramsey Volunteer of the Year.
