Councilmember Cich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-07-168 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF RAMSEY AND RECIPIENTS OF 1990/1991 FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR PUBLIC SERVICE AGENCIES WHEREAS, 1.990 and 1991 Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies have been made available to the City of Ramsey; and WIIEREAS, Anoka County Officials administering CDBG funds require that the City enter into a contract with each provider of services; and WItEREAS, at its meeting of July 23, 1991, the Ramsey CDBG Subcommittee recommended 1990/1991 CDBG funding to public service agencies as listed below: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That authorization be granted to the Mayor and the City Administrator to execute agreements between the City of Ramsey and the following organizations for the provision of human services in accordance with Federal CDBG regulations: Organization Amount Community Emergency Assistance Program Anoka County Community Action Program Alexandra House Rise, Inc. $2,000.00 $3,000.00 $3,000.00 $2,000.00 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the fo/lowing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbmlson Councilmember Cich Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Peterson Council member Hardin and the following voted against the same: None and tile following abstained: None and tile following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the R_.amsey CjJ;y Cou.n~cil this the 23rd day of July, 1991. ~'~/~' ~ '~' ~~~ .,..-7/~..,~ .~'~ ~____,~, .~ .~or ATTEST:
