Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #91-08-195 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ANOKA AREA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION'S <br />RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR GAMBLING AT <br />MCDUFF'S EATERY AND PUB <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Hockey Association has applied for a renewal of their <br />premise permit for gambling at McDuffs Eatery and Pub, 16659 St. Francis Blvd. N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the application is for a Class B permit which includes raffles, <br />paddlewheels, fipboards and pull-tabs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Division of the Department of Gaming requires <br />that the City Council adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit renewal application <br /> of the Anoka Area Hockey Association for gambling at McDuff's Eatery and Pub, <br /> 16659 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gilbertson <br /> Councilmember Peterson <br /> Councilmember Cich <br /> Councilmember Hardin <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br /> <br />this the 27th day of August, 1991. <br /> <br />~ A'~rfiFnistrat& -~ <br /> <br /> <br />
