Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #91-09-207 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING NORTHFORK LINKS GOLF COURSE OPEN <br />HOUSE AND RESCINDING THE NO-PARKING LIMITATION ON THE SOUTH <br />SIDE OF I$3RD AVENUE N.W. TO FACILITATE PARKING FOR THIS EVENT <br />ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 AND 14, 1991 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developers of Northfork Links will be sponsoring an open house/media <br />tour of the new Northfork Links Golf Course; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, presently the club house and accessory parking lot are still to be <br />constructed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Code Chapter 6.03.03 prohibits on-street parking; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 6.03.19 authorizes the City Engineer to designate time zone <br />parking on City streets. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the no-parking limitation on the south side of 153rd Avenue N.W. for a distance of <br />one-half mile east of the railroad tracks be rescinded for the dates of Friday, September 13, <br />1991 and Saturday, September 14, 1991 to facilitate parking for open house/media tour of <br />Northfork Links Golf Course. <br /> <br />2) That the Police Department will receive a copy of this resolution upon its adoption. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Cich <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Hardin <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
