Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #91-10-225 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 1991 BUDGET AMENDMENT #2 FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF ALLOCATING FUNDS DONATED BY THE RAMSEY LIONS <br />CLUB <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the regular Council meeting of May 28, 1991, a Resolution Thanking the <br />Ramsey Lions Club For Donation of Council Chamber Chairs, 4/91-05-106, was adopted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due to this donation, the City ordered and has now received thirteen (13) <br />Ergon II Management Chairs at a price of $340.28 each for a total purchase in the amount of <br />$4,423.64; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, fixed asset numbers 01382 - 01394 have been assigned for the purpose of <br />identifying the chairs as the property of the City of Ramsey and for recording within the City's <br />General Fixed Assets Account Group; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City issued cash receipt #29337 on September 24, 1991 to the Ramsey <br />Lions Club confirming receipt of their donation in the amount of $4,000.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the capital expenditure exceeds the donation by the sum of $423.64 for <br />which funds are available in the 1991 General Fund Budget under the Cost Center #1130 or <br />Administration; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's 1991 budgeted revenue and expenditures should be increased to <br />recognize this donation, expenditure and reclassification of funding; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this budget amendment does not increase or decrease the City's total 1991 <br />General Fund Budget. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Finance Officer of the City of Ramsey be instructed to enter this Budget <br />Amendment #2 to the City of Ramsey's Financial Systems to cause the following budget <br />amendment to be reflected in the City's financial records: <br /> Increase <br />Account Number: Budget Account Description: (Decrease) <br /> <br />101-36330 <br />101-45560-001111 <br />101-45570-001130 <br /> <br />Revenue Contribution $4,000.00 <br />Capital Council furniture $4,424.00 <br />Capital Admin. furniture ($424.00) <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Cich <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Counilmember Hardin <br /> <br /> <br />
