Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g91-10-234 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO VOLK SEWER & WATER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-15 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on August 14, 1990; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution g90-08- 261 awarding the bid to Volk Sewer & Water, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #89-15; and WHEREAS, The Consulting Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended final payment to Volk Sewer & Water, Inc. in the amount of $11,764.03. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Volk Sewer & Water, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #89-15 in the amount of $11,764.03. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or the City Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. 3) That the total amount of this final payment is not included in Resolution g01-10-223 approving payment of bills for the period September 16, 1991 through September 30, 1991. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Cich Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Hardin and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
