Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #91-10-241 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACCOUNTANT POSITION CHANGE <br />STATUS FROM FULL-TIME TO PART-TIME REGULAR <br /> <br />IN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 27, 1991 the Personnel Committee requested that the Finance <br />Officer review the staffing requirements of the Finance Department in light of the request of <br />Accountant Jennifer Swendsen to return to work from an extended leave of absence on a part-time <br />regular basis rather than the current full-time Accountant position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this change in status would result in a change in benefits received for <br />holiday, vacation and sick time and would be based on the number of hours worked; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the part-time position would no longer qualify for the City health and life <br />insurance plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Finance Officer Sandra Ashley Helling has reviewed the Finance Office <br />staffing needs and recommends that Jennifer Swendsen's request to change the status of the <br />Accountant position from full-time to part-time regular be granted; and <br /> <br /> W H E R E A S, City Administrator Ryan Schroeder is in agreement with the <br />recommendation of the Finance Officer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 8, 1991 the Personnel Committee reviewed this and is in <br />agreement with the recommendation of Staff to change the position of Accountant from full-time to <br />part-time regular status. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves the change of status for the <br />position of Accountant from full-time to part-time regular. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Cich <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
