Councilmember Elvig stated that he would prefer to have some of the application material. 2) Reorganization structure changes for Public Works Department. Councilmember Cook explained that this issue was brought forward for preliminary discussion and will be brought back at the next City Council work session. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT 1) Reschedule March 7, 2006 City Council Work Session City Administrator Norman explained that Caucuses are being held at 7:00 p.m. on March 7th SO the City Council Work Session needed to be rescheduled. Consensus of the City Council was to reschedule the work session to March 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 2) Economic Development Councilmember Strommen requested that the EDA be kept informed as to the progress being made in regards to the China project. Mayor Gamec replied that he anticipated that the EDA will be very involved with the process. 3) City Hall Tour Councilmember Cook stated that he received a call from the Anoka Technical College Architectural Drafting teacher inquiring if it would be possible to arrange a tour of the new City Hall in approximately three to four weeks. Assistant City Administrator Nelson replied that she will get in touch with them to try and arrange a tour. Councilmember Strommen left at 9:03 p.m. 4) Vikings Stadium Councilmember Elvig stated that he has received a couple of calls and e-mails regarding the proposed Viking stadium and asking what the City knows about the proposal or the City's viewpoint on the issue. He questioned if the City should request that the County make a brief presentation to the Council or possibly hold a public forum for the residents so that they can get more information. Mayor Gamec replied that he felt that was an individual issue and did not think that the City should get involved. He felt that was an issue that should be left to the County.
