CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 28, 2006, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed <br />Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:06 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilmember Strommen. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION OF CONTRIBUTION TO RAMSEY PARKS BY DENNY <br />FREDRICKSON OF ACE SOLID WASTE <br /> <br />Denny Fredrickson, Ace Solid Waste, presented the City with a check for the amount of $630. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec thanked Mr. Fredrickson for the donation. He stated that it was a controversial <br />subject when Ace first came to the City, but their presence has really been an asset to the <br />community. He explained that Ace Solid Waste has been an excellent sponsor in different events <br />within the City. He thanked Mr. Fredrickson for the service they offer to the residents. <br /> <br />Mr. Fredrickson replied that they really appreciate the relationship they have with the City. <br /> <br />City Council / February 28, 2006 <br /> Page 2 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
