In order to process the administrative subdivision, it is necessary
to vacate an easement along the common property line. The purpose of the administrative
subdivision is to increase the area of Lot 10 to accommodate an in-ground pool in the backyard.
Maple Leaf Custom Homes currently owns both lots, and seeks to make the adjustment. The
proposed change will add approximately 2,380 square feet to Lot 10. Both lots will remain in
conformance to City Code. Maple Leaf will be required to provide the City with a replacement
easement along the new common property line.

City Council / February 28, 2006
