The County recognizes <br />thatthisfunding is needed to su pport established infrastructure costs that exceed the Base and each communities funding. To <br />be eligible forgrantfunds,municipalitiesmust app[yforthesefunds. Applicants must itemize expenditureswithin each of the <br />three grant sections, Drop-off, General Enhancement and Organics Program, below and calculate the total grant requestfor each <br />catego ry. <br />Drop-off Grant <br />This grant is allocated to coveradditional drop-off centercosts orevents beyond the regularly scheduled spring and fall <br />recycli n g days. <br />The grant for this section is $10,000.00 for municipalities with up to 4,999 households and <br />$15,000.00 for municipalities with household counts 5,000 and over. <br />Below are examples of materials that can be collected for reuse or recycling. Only list organics expenses in the organics <br />section. <br />Additional Reusable or Recyclable Materials Collected at Permanent Drop-off Centers or Special Events: <br />Appliances, Electronics, Mattresses*, Confidential Document Destruction, Fluorescent Bulbs, Household Batteries, Fire <br />Extinguishers, Propane Tanks, Bicycles**, and Clothing**. <br />Additional Items: <br />Blockand Shape Polystyrene, Cell Phones, Film Plastic/Bags, Furniture* **, Household Goods**, String Lights/Extension <br />Cords, Printer Cartridges <br />* None of these materialsshould be advertised as beingcollected on a Recycling Day and then disposed of astrash <br />** Items that should be evaluated for reuse priorto recycling <br />Drop-off Grant AmountAvailable $ <br />15,000.00 <br />Click hereto download the Drop-off Eligible Expenses document. <br />6 of 13 <br />
