5. 28. <br />CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 09/26/2023 <br />PrimaryStrategic Plan Initiative: Create a positive image for residential neighborhoods, business districts and key <br />g corridors. <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #23-242 Authorizing Removal of Old Public Works Offices at 14100 Jasper St. NW <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The Public Works Department has been operating out of their current facility since Fall 2021. The former <br />location includes multiple buildings, including the former administrative offices at 14100 Jasper St NW. These <br />offices were housed in satellite trailer similar to a mobile home. This structure is not suitable for continued use by <br />the City. In 2022, Public Works attempted to sell the double wide trailer but were unsuccessful. Due to the <br />condition of the trailer, and to repurpose the former public works site staff recommends hiring a contractor to <br />remove the former offices. <br />Two quote were received to demolish and remove the offices from the site. The low quote was received from <br />Foster Trucking, Inc. of Ham Lake, MN in the amount of $8,000. The quote does not include permit fees, utility <br />disconnects, foundation removal (N/A) and ground restoration.
