The height of an attached accessory <br /> 22 structure shall not exceed the height of the principal structure. <br /> 23 (2) Rural Residential or YFban MUSA Reserve District: The height of a detached accessory <br /> 24 buildings shall not exceed the height of the principal structure or 24 feet, whichever is less. <br /> 25 The height of an attached accessory structure shall not exceed the height of the principal <br /> 26 structure. If a detached structure is in the rear yard, the height of the accessory structure <br /> 27 cannot exceed 30 feet. <br /> 28 (B) Architectural Requirements. The exterior materials used on the detached accessory buildings must <br /> 29 generally match those of the principal building on the subject property including same or similar <br /> 30 colors, soffit, fascia and eave overhang. <br /> 31 (C) Setbacks <br /> 32 (1) Side and Rear Setbacks—5 feet. <br /> 33 (2) Front Setback and side adjacent to right-of-way—no closer to the street than the edge of the <br /> 34 principal structure. <br /> 35 (3) Exception:detached accessory building may be located in front of the principal building while <br /> 36 maintaining setbacks for principal structures in that zoning district when: <br /> 37 a. On RR lots two acres or greater in area, or <br /> 38 b. When located riparian lots in the wild and scenic, critical area, or shoreland overlay <br /> 39 districts. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 (D) Quantity and Area Requirements. All accessory buildings,with the exception of attached garages, <br /> 42 shall be included when calculating the maximum square footage of accessory building space allowed <br /> 43 on a property.
