Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION#23-245 RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #1 FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-20, COR MASS GRADING WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 922-241, adopted October 25,2022,the City Council authorized Bolton & Menk, Inc. to complete The COR Public Infrastructure and Wetland Analysis proposals; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 923-107, adopted May 9,2023,the City Council approved The COR Public Infrastructure Design Services proposal of Bolton & Menk, Inc. specifying their scope of services and not-to-exceed fees for design services associated with public infrastructure improvements in The COR; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 923-157, adopted July 11, 2023, the City Council approved the plans prepared by Bolton and Menk, Inc. and authorized advertising bids for City Improvement Project 923-20, COR Mass Grading; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 923-176, adopted August 8, 2023, the City Council accepted ten bids and directed the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into a contract with the lowest responsible bidder, Enebak Construction Company, in the amount of $4,197,240.34 for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, and directed the City Administrator to accept the Construction Services Proposal of Bolton and Menk, Inc. in the not-to-exceed amount of$222,187.00; and WHEREAS, during construction it was identified that moving the storm sewer closer to Sunwood Drive would maximize the development potential of Parcel 46; and WHEREAS, Bolton and Menk, Inc. revised the storm sewer design and worked with Enebak Construction Company to prepare Change Order No. 1 that identifies associated increased construction costs in the amount of$39,716.98. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 for Improvement Project 923-20, COR Mass Grading, for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey.
