116) and on CSAH 57 from TH 10/169 to 0.11 miles south of Bunker Lake Boulevard (CSAH 116) and on Riverdale Drive from 0.15 miles west of Ramsey Boulevard to 0.13 miles east of Ramsey Boulevard, and on Sunfish Lake Boulevard from Riverdale Drive to TH 10 under State Project 002-596-026 and State Project 0202-116 (TH 10=003) as part of Improvement Project 420-11, Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Improvements; and WHEREAS, the contract called for 760 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) watermain and 275 linear feet of 10-inch DIP watermain; and WHEREAS, the contractor proposed substituting 8-inch and 10-inch PVC C900 watermain in lieu of the 8-inch and 10-inch DIP watermain as a cost savings measure; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer reviewed the proposed watermain material substitution and executed Change Order No. 4 on September 14, 2023 approving the substitution of PVC C900 watermain in lieu of DIP watermain to reduce City construction costs by $76,050.00; and WHEREAS, the contractor subsequently installed the PVC C900 watermain as part of the 2023 Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Widening Improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby provides after-the-fact approval of the execution of Change Order No. 4 for 2023 Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Widening Improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Kuzma Councilmember Musgrove Councilmember Woestehoff Councilmember Howell Councilmember Olson Councilmember Riley Councilmember Specht and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None Resolution#23-246 Page 2 of 2
