Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #23-252 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING SEWER CLEANING & TELEVISING PROPOSALS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-12, JUNIPER WOODS 1ST — 3RD STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Juniper Woods 1", 2nd, and 3rd subdivision as identified within the 2023 — 2032 10-Year Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 423-130, adopted June 13, 2023,the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton&Menk, Inc., for topographic survey of the project area; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 423-129, adopted June 27, 2023, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc., for a geotechnical report of the project area; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 423-202, adopted August 22, 2023, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Juniper Woods I"—3rd Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project 424-12; and WHEREAS, televising of sanitary and storm sewers is required to accurately evaluate the condition of below ground municipal utilities; and WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to six (6) firms for the purpose of obtaining proposals for completing the proposed cleaning and televising services; and WHEREAS,the one (1) cleaning and televising proposal received is tabulated below; and Project Hydro-Klean, LLC Proposal IP 24-12 Juniper Wood I"—3rd Street Reconstructions $21 222.16 WHEREAS, the proposal of Hydro-Klean, LLC in the amount of $21,222.16 for the televising of Juniper Woods 1"—3rd, for said services in accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest responsible proposal and their proposal shall be and hereby is accepted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Hydro-Klean, LLC for said cleaning and televising services for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey.
